Well, its been quite a while since I last got around to writing a few words. We've been to Holland and back for Scrapaganza with some to the angels from Arc Angels. We had a busy Autumn with various workshops - one in making boxes and shaker cards which was very interesting. By the time Christmas came we decided to get out away from paper crafts and head off to the St. Josephs School for the Visually Impaired where we made a Christmas Wreath and a Christmas Table decoration.
In the Spring, we had a good workshop in stitched cards - this appealed to the cross stitchers and the card makers alike so there has been plenty of pattern swapping going on since then. To celebrate the feast of St. Bridgid, one talented angel deliverd an excellent workshop on basket making and made for us, over the course of an evening, a Willow Tee-pee - perfect for growing sweet pea and runner beans. Another one of the angels who delivered a hugly successful ATC workshop at Crafteire last year has been elevated to card.
We have a couple of workshops lined up for the Summer - again another box workshop and we hope, a book binding session, later in the summer we will be doing a calligraphy workshop but that will all take place after the Mega Scrap-a-ganza in Holland which takes place in June. 7 angels will be taking part. Just before the Scrap-a- Ganza some of us will be also heading off to the Art in Action Weekend which takes place in Drogheda on the June Bank Holiday weekend.
Its all go... so little time and so much to craft....
